Koch Chemie Hull PreCleaner Acid
Koch Chemie Hull PreCleaner Acid for Deck & Hull Pre-Wash | Sarasota
Hull PreCleaner Acid is Koch Chemie’s highly concentrated acidic pre-wash for boat decks and hulls on gelcoat, paint, and plastics. Sarasota salt and mineral fouling often need an acid pre-clean before Boat Wash or polishing—use carefully and never on real wood or aluminum.
Features / Why Pros Use It
- Highly concentrated acid pre-cleaner for hull and deck
- For gelcoat, paint, and plastic surfaces onboard
- Dilute ~1:10 for typical soils; neat for heavy soiling (per Koch)
- Not for real wood or aluminum—wear eye protection
How to Use
- Dilute 1:10 with water for normal soils, or apply neat for heavy soiling
- Apply with an acid-rated pressure sprayer or appropriate applicator
- Agitate as needed; do not allow to dry—rinse thoroughly
- Never use on aluminum or real wood; avoid hot surfaces
